One of the primary goals of men’s ministry is to equip and support men to follow Jesus in their everyday lives, relationships, and responsibilities. One of the ways that we seek to do that is to foster one-on-one discipleship opportunities, or a mentoring connection. These connections are designed for at least one year of regular meetings to walk through God’s Word, pray, and explore God’s calling on us as men. The Heart of a Man (led by Jonathan Wallace)
God creates the heart of man with an identity and a calling. Men are created to receive God’s redeeming grace, to be called sons of the Lord, and to join with God in His mission to care for creation and the people made in God’s image. The world may fear, and even attack, the masculine heart, but it is absolutely necessary for us to thrive and live in healthy relationships. In this 7 week series we will explore the core relationships and the core responsibilities to love that are wired in the masculine heart.

SUNDAY MORNING STUDY
Sundays at 9:30AM in FLC 3105
Join men of all ages for a class that meets every Sunday morning for a book-by-book study of the Bible and discussion. Currently, the class is studying Paul's letter to the Romans. No registration needed - just show up!

SONrise
Each Thursday morning during the school year (August - May), a multi-generational group of men gather for a delicious breakfast (seriously... it's worth waking up early for), fellowship and speakers who encourage attendees with scripture and stories of their individual journeys to Christ - and all before the work day begins! SONrise begins with breakfast starting at 6AM (coffee ready at 5:30AM) and ends around 7AM, with plenty of time to get to work. It's a fun, relaxed environment with the great benefit of spending time with other Christ-minded men. Join us in the worship room/fellowship hall area bright and early!

Over the summer SONrise members meet every other Thursday at a different breakfast location to catch up and chat with each other.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
Men can be as involved as they like or their schedule allows! There are opportunities to join a breakfast cooking team, sign up for serving projects, help with setup/takedown, or join in corporate prayer.
The regular SONrise season is split into quarters, and there are suggested quarterly dues of $50 (after you have attended several meetings, of course). This helps SONrise continue to provide great breakfast each week and support Getwell missions. If you're interested in diving in to be more involved with SONrise, please contact Jason.Grissom@getwellchurch.org.
