In the Getwell Nursery, we provide safe and loving care for infants and children birth through Pre-K on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and for other special events. Our Nursery Coordinator, Meghan Silva, and the team of servant leaders are ready to take care of your little ones in our kid-friendly atmosphere, located on the first floor of the Kids Building.
Kids are separated according to their individual developmental stage and age. We partner with parents and support you in your walk with Christ while nurturing and teaching children Biblical truths in age-appropriate ways.
The nursery is open for Sunday services and Wednesday nights, and Play Days are offered during the summer.
Check-in starts 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. Registration is required at your first visit. Please click the button below if you would like to fill out a registration form before you arrive. Pagers are available for parents if desired.
We care about your child’s safety! Background checks are done on everyone working or volunteering with our kids.
WHAT WE TEACH
We partner with parents and support you in your walk with Christ while nurturing and teaching children Biblical truths in age-appropriate ways using the First Look Curriculum. We teach three basic truths and provide materials like Parent Cue to connect families to an everyday faith at home.
THREE BASIC TRUTHS
By the time a child is five years old, we want them to know:
1. God Made Me
Psalm 139:13-14: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
2. God Loves Me
Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever
John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

BABY DEDICATION
Getwell Church hosts a Baby Dedication event several times each year. This experience allows a small group of parents and families to dedicate their children using traditional vows while also providing the benefit of celebrating in a more intimate setting and with even more individualized attention. PLAY DAYS
The nursery ministry hosts Play Days from 9 AM – 1 PM for preschoolers during the summer months. We have Bible lessons, fun activities, crafts and snacks.
SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY
Getwell Church is excited to have a ministry designed specifically for kids with challenges that prevent them from being able to learn in the regular classroom setting.
